About Me

Hello! My name is Amanda. Ever since I was a baby there was always at least one pet in my home and at one point we had 13 different pets. Growing up I had pet-sitted for many neighbors with all kinds of animals. During my Senior High School year I joined the FFA Club and received training as a Veterinary Technician Assistant. I also have had other opportunities in the animal industry to learn about animal nutrition, basic grooming, play interaction, and some obedience/behavioral training.

My husband Rob is a graphic designer and helps me with my website, social media an any other marketing or design needs that I have. He also loves playing with my boarding dogs and helping with miscellaneous tasks that require two people.

We have two dogs of our own. Melody (Husky) and Remi (German Shepherd). We've had Melody for 7 years and adopted her as a rescue. We don't know her exact age or much about her history since she was a stray before she was found by The Arctic Rescue. Mel is "retired" and is pretty chill and lazy these days. Remi is a dog we fostered in 2023. After a month of fostering, we decided to adopt her. She has been the perfect running buddy for Rob and we are so happy that she has found her forever home with us.
Overall, my mission is to have opportunities to invest in an animal with activity that is physically, mentally, and emotionally balancing for them and to build a trusting relationship with them. I always learn something new from each experience with an animal and love to give their owners assurance that I care about their pet too.
